Case Study - Enhancing Stock Accuracy with RGIS Vision for Aerospace Company

CHALLENGE
An aerospace company relied on cycle counts due to scale and operational limits. A full stocktake with internal resources would require days of shutdown, impossible given production demands.

WHY RGIS?
RGIS was chosen for its RGIS Vision tech and flexible, high-accuracy approach. After a site visit, RGIS proposed completing the count during an early Friday shutdown to avoid disruption.

SOLUTION
A tailored plan included pre-event data gathering, site assessment, and file integration; RGIS Vision with tablets, laptops, and 14 scanners; special handling for sealed aerospace parts; and a skilled team of 12 ASETs plus management. From 12–8pm, 184,404 units across 2,117.15 APHs were counted in one day.

RESULTS
